Breeding Plans, Deposits & Litter Changes*

At Pikes Peak German Shepherds, we carefully plan our breedings with the goal of producing healthy, stable, well-rounded German Shepherds. However, responsible breeding involves many variables, and even the most carefully planned breeding may not result in a pregnancy, a successful litter, or the number or type of puppies anticipated.

Breeding plans are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including unsuccessful breedings, infertility, litter size, health considerations, and the well-being of our dogs. While we understand that many families apply for a puppy with a specific litter in mind, we cannot guarantee that a particular breeding will be successful or produce a suitable puppy for every family.

If a planned litter does not occur or circumstances change, families may choose to remain on our waiting list for a future litter. We are happy to work with families who prefer to wait for another planned breeding.

Deposit Policy: Deposits reserve a place on our waiting list and may be transferred to a future litter. Deposits are nonrefundable except when Pikes Peak German Shepherds is unable to provide a suitable puppy or dog within 12 months of the date the deposit is received. In that circumstance, the buyer may request a refund of their deposit.

Our priority is to match each family with a suitable puppy rather than rush a placement simply to fulfill a planned timeline. We appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and trust in our breeding program.
